NFLTR Insider: Power Rankings, Saleh, Hackett, Adams, Carr, Watson
Power Rankings: Week 6
NFLTR’s Ethan Woodie dropped his Week 6 NFL Power Rankings on Tuesday.
Robert Saleh
The Jets shook things up on Tuesday by firing HC Robert Saleh.
The Jets later named DC Jeff Ulbrich as the interim head coach after firing Saleh.
Nathaniel Hackett
One report mentioned Tuesday that former Jets HC Robert Saleh was seriously considering firing OC Nathaniel Hackett, yet Saleh was fired.
Saleh reportedly then would have installed Todd Downing as the team's offensive coordinator in Hackett's place.
A separate report said that firing Hackett was never in consideration, yet his playcalling duties were going to be handed off to Downing.
Davante Adams
The Jets are still expected to be in the mix to trade for WR Davante Adams even after firing HC Robert Saleh.
Derek Carr
Saints QB Derek Carr is expected to miss multiple games with an oblique injury he suffered during the team's Monday night loss to the Chiefs.
The Saints will likely protect Carr from himself, as the oblique injury is considered to be "significant."
