Power Rankings: Week 4

Patrick Mahomes

  • Despite a 3-0 start for Kansas City, Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes doesn't feel he's playing up to par.

  • Mahomes isn't concerned about his stats but he knows he has to perform better to help everyone around him. 

Sam Darnold

  • Test results on Vikings QB Sam Darnold’s knee showed a knee bruise and no structural damage. He is not expected to miss any time. (NFLTR)

Buzz:

  • Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence is shouldering most of the blame for the team’s lackluster start. (NFLTR)

  • Packers HC Matt LaFleur continues to rave about how impressive it is for Malik Willis to perform at this level with such little time to prepare. (NFLTR)

  • Seahawks hosted veteran OT Jason Peters for a free agent visit. (NFLTR)

  • Broncos worked out veteran LB Kwon Alexander. (NFLTR)

  • Falcons worked out seven players. (NFLTR)

  • Bears hosted seven players for tryouts. (NFLTR)

  • Saints worked out five offensive linemen. (NFLTR)

  • Titans brought in four running backs for tryouts. (NFLTR)

  • Cardinals hosted four defensive linemen for workouts. (NFLTR)

Injuries:

  • Bengals OT Trent Brown needs season-ending surgery and will likely be placed on injured reserve soon. (NFLTR)

  • Steelers OLB Alex Highsmith is slated to miss a couple of weeks with a groin injury. (NFLTR)

  • Saints C Erik McCoy will undergo groin surgery. (NFLTR)

  • Jaguars LB Foyesade Oluokun is expected to miss "several weeks" due to plantar fasciitis. (NFLTR)

  • Veteran free-agent OT D.J. Humphries is "several weeks away" from being medically cleared from his torn ACL. (NFLTR)
