Week 3 NFL Panic-Meter
Christian McCaffrey
49ers RB Christian McCaffrey is set to visit a specialist in Germany about his lingering Achilles tendonitis issue.
McCaffrey originally had a calf injury but the issue has evolved to the point where the team and the veteran running back are exploring all options to get him on track to return this season.

Raiders plan to stick with Gardner Minshew as their starting quarterback. (NFLTR)
Chargers S Derwin James Jr. has been suspended without pay for one game for repeated violations of playing rules. (NFLTR)
Falcons C Drew Dalman is a candidate to go on short-term injured reserve with a high ankle sprain. (NFLTR)
Panthers QB Bryce Young admitted that he was blindsided when he found out that he was being benched, but he remains committed to the organization and helping the team the best he possibly can. (NFLTR)

Bengals RT Trent Brown was carted off after suffering an injury to his right knee. Zac Taylor said after the game that it “doesn’t look good.” (NFLTR)
Lions C Frank Ragnow suffered a partially torn pectoral muscle. (NFLTR)
49ers DT Javon Hargrave partially tore his triceps and will miss the remainder of the season. (NFLTR)
Panthers WR Adam Thielen suffered a hamstring injury and is expected to miss time. (NFLTR)
Browns DE Myles Garrett underwent an MRI on Monday for foot and ankle injuries that ultimately came back clean. (NFLTR)
Chargers first-round OT Joe Alt suffered a sprained MCL. (NFLTR)
Raiders S Marcus Epps suffered a torn ACL. (NFLTR)
Lions DE Marcus Davenport will miss the rest of the season with a significant elbow injury. (NFLTR)
