• Training camp for NFL teams is just underway and there is still so much to be sorted out in preseason games and the weeks to come.

Christian Barmore

• The New England Patriots announced Sunday that DT Christian Barmore was diagnosed with blood clots this weekend and there is currently no timetable for him to return. 

• Former NFL physician David Chao mentions that this, unfortunately, puts Barmore's 2024 season in jeopardy due to the prolonged blood thinner usage required.

• We wish Barmore the best and a speedy recovery. 

Tristan Wirfs

• Conflicting reports have emerged regarding contract talks between the Buccaneers and OT Tristan Wirfs.

• One report says the two parties are "miles apart" from an agreement at this point while another mentions that they’re making progress on a contract that is expected to make Wirfs the highest-paid tackle in the NFL.

• We have him included in our Top 100 - 2025 NFL Free Agents list.

Tyreek Hill

• The Dolphins are reportedly expected to shift their attention to getting a contract adjustment done for WR Tyreek Hill now that QB Tua Tagovailoa's extension is done.

• Hill has been open about seeking an updated contract to reflect the growing receiver market

Buzz:

• Free agent QB Ryan Tannehill said he received some interest from teams in signing this offseason but didn't think there was an opportunity good enough to jump at. (NFLTR)

• The Jets have made some progress in contract talks with DE Haason Reddick. (NFLTR)

• The Rams and QB Matthew Stafford have officially agreed to a restructured contract that will pay him an additional $5 million more in 2024.  (NFLTR)
