Bold Predictions

Dak Prescott

  • Optimism appears to be building for the Cowboys to get a long-term extension in place with QB Dak Prescott. (NFLTR)

  • Although, there’s still a ways to go before a deal is considered imminent.

Ja'Marr Chase

  • There are reportedly people within the Bengals who were "encouraged and hopeful as of late last week" about negotiations with WR Ja'Marr Chase. (NFLTR)

  • However, there is some concern that Chase could miss games if a deal isn’t in place.

Buzz:

  • Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy discussed his contract as he heads into the final year of his deal without an extension. (NFLTR)

  • Jets HC Robert Saleh indicated on Thursday that DE Haason Reddick still hasn't reported to practice but wouldn't rule him out from Week 1's Monday Night game against the 49ers. (NFLTR)

  • Vikings RB Aaron Jones believes he still has a lot of gas left in the tank.
