Brock Purdy

  • 49ers QB Brock Purdy avoided a major elbow injury in Monday night's loss to the Lions. (NFLTR)

  • Purdy has some inflammation in the nerves in his elbow after taking a hit but it isn't expected to be a long-term issue.

Pro Bowl

Jon Gruden

  • Former Raiders HC Jon Gruden could draw interest as a candidate in the upcoming coaching cycle. (NFLTR)

  • "Multiple teams that have been doing extensive homework" on Gruden as a person and coach and he wouldn't be surprised to see Gruden getting interviews in the coming weeks. 

Buzz:

  • Former Buccaneers OC Byron Leftwich is looking to return to coaching in the NFL. (NFLTR)

  • Mike Vrabel could be a name to watch for the Raiders should they move on from HC Antonio Pierce in the coming weeks. (NFLTR)
