18 Game Season

  • NFLPA executive director Lloyd Howell mentioned that the NFL and NFLPA have begun high-level talks about expanding the season to 18 games.

  • The current collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and NFLPA runs through 2030 and expanded the season from 16 to 17 games — a compromise from the NFL's push for 18 games.
