18 Game Season

NFLPA executive director Lloyd Howell mentioned that the NFL and NFLPA have begun high-level talks about expanding the season to 18 games.
The current collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and NFLPA runs through 2030 and expanded the season from 16 to 17 games — a compromise from the NFL's push for 18 games.

There have reportedly been no substantial contract talks between the Cowboys and WR CeeDee Lamb.
Lamb is not expected to be in attendance for the start of training camp and is now an official holdout.

The Jets traded for DE Haason Reddick during the offseason to bolster their pass rush.
While the Jets did make Reddick a contract offer, he has opted to hold out of training camp until he receives a new deal.
