It gets late early in the NFL. While the season may be 17 games, history says teams that start 0-2 have just a 10 percent chance of rebounding and making the playoffs. Week 2 may not be a knockout round — but it’s close.
NFLTR’s Logan Ulrich takes a look at the teams that have started 0-2 in 2025.
Joe Burrow

J.J. McCarthy

Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy was able to finish Sunday night’s loss to the Falcons. (NFLTR)
However, it turns out he suffered an ankle sprain that could cost him between 2-4 weeks.
Jayden Daniels

Commanders QB Jayden Daniels underwent an MRI following Week 2's loss against the Packers and was diagnosed with a sprained knee. (NFLTR)
The injury isn't a long-term issue, but Daniels' status is in doubt for Week 3 against the Raiders.
